writing is hard
Lately, I've been experimenting with voice mode or simply voice-based transcription, writing, and everything in between.
When you speak things out and record the constant flow of thoughts as they occur, you enter a weird state of flow where thoughts just arise and you merely observe them. Doing these recording sessions over the course of days and weeks, you begin to notice patterns emerging in how you talk and think. Thinking out loud really helps someone who thinks out loud.
Growing up, I refrained from thinking out loud because society perceived by behavior as abnormal. But voice mode allowed me to reconnect with that part of life where it actually made sense; to think, reflect, and sit with your own words.
I designed a voice app around this idea, built purely to help me reflect and think even deeper. Sure, anyone can be a thinker. It's cheap, there's not much to it as one can start by just staring at the ceiling, or speaking out loud and letting the words flow. It's kind of meditative.
The funny thing, though, is that when it comes to writing, words don't flow the same way. So this whole writing thing is hard.
