What is it that you want?
Probably to own a self sustaining business. Something that can generate enough revenue that grows with the inflation, and not against it.
That is all we want in life, isn't it? The reason for it is to own things and experiment with things to fulfill the drive to create and share.
Sure, we can go without this.
But man, we are genuinely curious. Don't you agree?
My case is slightly different. However, always limited by resources and money, puts you at the fundamental disadvantage. Like anything frontier is limited by the environment. The only way out is to change the environment which is impossible because of my spawn point as it is considered as subhumans or shitholes by the civilized society
One example of how restrictive things are: I can't even open bank account without disclosing how I make money nor can I receive money in terms of dollars.
When you are born in this situation even a $100 bill feels weird despite having the money to afford it.
As you understand the power of money and the value experimentation can bring, you want to invest on that. But you are afraid you will lose the little you have because you are constrained in this limited environment.
When you know that money being idle is losing it's value and despite that you can't do anything about it.
When dollar hike just causes you to lose the very small amount of money you own. 20% of the saving is gone due to global war and inflation.
If you put people in situation as this one, they probably won't care about what is going on in rest of the world or children are suffering or animals are suffering because fundamentally and objectively, these people are also suffering. So empathy is not a choice for most in this situation at all. Yet, we empathize. Yet, we help. Yet, we share.
The problems with these new money class is they are too loud for better or worse.
